Question unanswered in the Presentation of HEISHA DCap Pro at the NestGen
February 24, 2023
FlytBase held a global online conference about autonomous drones, which gathered global BVLOS regulations, applications in different fields, and different types of drone docks providers altogether.
Our presentation of the DCap Pro, a vehicle-mounted rooftop drone dock, participated in the drone dock session, and received different kinds of questions in the Q&A part, here are a few that we didn’t answer due to the time limit:
1. Could it work on the poor wifi signal area?
Yes. Both the DCap and DCap Pro can work with the PDA, which can be connected directly to the DCap drone dock, with no wifi required.
2. Do you think you can get a cap for boats?
We already made a solution for the Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) based on our R80 robot charging station, which can charge both the drone and the USV.

3. What do EASA think about it?
4. How Heisha is working regarding BVLOS regulations?
Heisha will continue to do all the efforts to assure the integration of the drone, software, and robot dock hardware following the regulations, like EASE and BVLOS regulations.
