HEISHA D80 drone dock for solar panel farm inspection in Sapporo

One of our partners from Sapporo in Japan is maintaining their solar panel farm asset and needed periodic surveys of the farm. They install HEISHA D80 quite recently to complete the required mission.

The system is also running as a testing site to apply the BVLOS flight from the Japanese Government, as the new technology has helped with the inspection work more efficiently and they also want to stay ahead of the curve.

Although the temperature would drop below zero as it’s already wintertime, D80 has a heater inside to make sure the system’s working environment temperature is above zero. The client is using Mavic 2 for the mission, the drone battery is also DJI’s self-heated battery.
