Heisha D400 autonomous firefighting drone dock is upgraded

To reduce the manufacturing costs of our firefighting drone infrastructure, our engineering team has innovated extensively on the design, leading to the development of the second-generation D400 autonomous drone charging dock. This latest iteration is not only more cost-effective but also more efficient, designed specifically to work in tandem with the Phoenix Wings’ ARK40 firefighting drone, which is equipped with two fire suppression canisters each weighing 4 kilograms.

The system’s operational efficiency lies in its ability to execute missions with minimal human intervention. Once dispatched to a fire site, the ARK40 drone releases its payload of fire suppression canisters, which are designed to deliver a targeted extinguishing agent to the source of the blaze. Upon completing its mission, the drone autonomously returns to the D400 docking station where it is reloaded with fresh canisters. If additional intervention is required, the drone will refuel, rearm, and redeploy, repeating this cycle until all twelve canisters have been utilized.

Controlled through an advanced online flight operating system, the entire mission—from launch to precision landing—can be managed remotely. This includes setting waypoints for the drone’s flight path, initiating the automatic return sequence, ensuring a precise landing on the dock, and activating the one-button charging feature to prepare the drone for its next sortie.

This autonomous firefighting solution represents a significant advancement in rapid response technology. By enabling quicker fire containment, the D400 system helps mitigate damage, protect lives, and preserve property, thereby providing a critical advantage in the battle against wildfires and other fire emergencies.
